Pre Breathe Information

Welcome to School Breathe's weekly breathe! We look forward to guiding you through some gentle movement and paced breathing exercises.

Important information, ZOOM ID and donation details are below. Please read in full before you join. For those who have breathed with us before, please make your donation, inform us of any new medical conditions and we look forward to seeing you again on Wednesday.

For those joining us for the first time, please make sure you:

A few reminders on how to make the best of your session.

Wear warm, comfortable clothes. Socks for relaxation is always a good idea! All practices can be enjoyed barefoot or with non slip socks (there's gentle movement to open up the breath)

Prepare your breathing space: Make sure you are warm enough, with fresh air circulating.

Have a yoga mat and blanket ready. Bring a few pillows too as we may need to prop you up.

Have a glass of water and clean tissues handy. Bring your inhaler if you use one.

Position your laptop or phone camera in a way that you are visible so that you can be seen and guided.

Make sure you will not be disturbed: Inform others in the house that you are on a zoom session, close the door to pets and children, and  pop your mobile on silent mode.

Before the session: Pop to the loo, avoid consuming any alcohol or intoxicating substances and do not eat a large meal 1 hour beforehand.

Log on a few minutes before the session so not to miss a breath!

We look forward to meeting you there.

What to expect?

The 30 minute breath session offers gentle movement, paced breathing and deep relaxation. This is for adults of all abilities and the sessions can be enjoyed seated or standing.

Each week, either a School Breathe breath coach or a selected, certified breath coach will guide you through the session.

Please note, you can always go back to your own breathing rate and pace at any time. Take the breathwork very gently and feel free to move into a lying down or sitting up position as you breathe. Please take full responsibility for your own health and wellbeing.
